Text: TEXT messages can be sent to 615-883-5199 (this number is for all things camp related ONLY).  It is checked from 7:00-6:00 on the days camp is held - it will not be checked on the weekend; therefore, you must send an email if your correspondence is over Saturday-Sunday.  If you have questions about upcoming camps, etc., email the gym.

Phone: If you need to reach the gym or your child at any time ... the number to reach the gym (for campers during 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) is 615-883-5199. Please use ONLY this number and not the regular gym number. This number goes directly to the CAMP room!

Below are the answers to the most frequently asked questions (and important information you need to know):

**All campers must be onsite NO LATER THAN 9:30 a.m.**

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!! ~  EACH CAMPER NEEDS A REFILLABLE WATER/DRINK BOTTLE (with their name clearly marked on it) SENT WITH THEM EACH & EVERY DAY!!  If your camper(s) is dropped off without a water bottle, you will be required to purchase one on-site - bottled water is $2.00 and CANNOT be purchased with a bank/credit card. There is way for campers to refill their water bottles throughout the day.

Regarding lunch, we will NOT be heating up food!

Please be sure to send NOTHING that needs to be heated!

FOOD MUST BE SENT WITH THEM EACH DAY - NO FOOD DELIVERIES!

What are the days & hours for camp?

Camp runs Monday – Friday from as early as 7:30 a.m. and as late as 6:00 p.m.   All campers must be picked-up by 6:00 p.m. Call the CAMP PHONE at 615-883-5199 if you are running late - DO NOT CALL THE MAIN GYM PHONE.  It is $1 per minute that you are late for pick-up (this will be strictly enforced).

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP will be at the double doors located off the main parking lot. These doors will not open before 7:30 a.m. Gym activities will take place only during the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.  but there will be activities in the camp room between 7:30-8:30 a.m. and between 3:30-6:00 p.m. PICK UP will be through these same doors ONLY - not the gym's main entrance door.

Please feed your child/children breakfast before they get to the gym - Do not send your child with food to eat breakfast 'onsite' at the gym.

Please send your child with both lunch AND an afternoon snack AND a late afternoon snack (for those staying after 4:00 p.m.) All campers will have a snack (provided by each camper) at 1:30 p.m.; however, campers staying after 4:00 p.m. need an additional snack sent with them for snack at 4 p.m.  For the younger campers ... it is helpful to separate lunch from snack(s) so that they are aware that there are TWO/THREE different "meals".  Lunch is at 11:00 for the younger campers and 11:45 a.m. for the older campers, 1st snack at 1:30 and 2nd snack (for those who are staying after 4:00 p.m.) is at 4:00 p.m.  Send ONLY foods that do not need to be 1) heated up or 2) refrigerated (if things need to be kept cold. include an ice pack with lunch). Please do not send popcorn for snack unless it has already been popped.

FOOD & DRINKS - There is no such thing as 'sending too much' food - We CANNOT stress this enough! The kids will be moving the entire day! They will get VERY hungry. Please be sure to send enough to sustain them for the entire day (especially those here from 7:30 am-6:00 pm)! Many times the 4:00 campers tell us they are out of food ... make sure you send enough for the entire day! And as a reminder, FOOD DELIVERIES ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THE GYM!

We do not allow hand-held video games and/or other electronic toys or devices.  This includes phones. They all need to be left at home. Electronics brought to the gym will taken up and will be kept at the front desk - Please do not have them at the gym! No books, cards, games, stuffed animals, toys, pillow, blankets, purses, jewelry, etc. NO PERSONAL ITEMS!

Magnitude 10.0 Gymnastics, LLC, is not responsible for lost or broken items.

Please make sure your child's name is visibly marked on anything they bring with them.

The camp entrance doors (and the gym's main entrance) will remain locked at all times.  If no one is at the camp doors at drop-off, please ring the door bell located on the door. Parents will not be allowed to remain on-site after drop-off.

Please (if possible) do not pick up during snack times (1:30-1:50 or 4:00-4:20)

Please let us know about any food allergies!

Please do not send anything in glass...food, drinks, etc.,  as all campers are barefoot throughout the entire day! NO GLASS IS ALLOWED!

Soft drinks, bottled water & Gatorade can be purchased for $2.00 on the premises and a variety of snacks can be purchased for $2.00/each. Larger items such as Cotton Candy is $3.00.  Snacks can ONLY BE PURCHASED during the 1:30 snack time.  If you need something from the snacks carts for their lunch, parents must purchase those at drop off.  We do not take bank/credit card payments for snacks/drinks.

Can summer camp be deducted on my taxes?

Yes! Camp receipts will be emailed out at the conclusion of the summer - not when your camp ends - but when the entire camp ends.  If you do not request a receipt ... you will not receive one! If you need a receipt for your child/children, you will need to get it at the end of the summer camp (on or before September 15).

Other important things you need to know:

  • All campers must be 100% bathroom independent.

  • We HIGHLY recommend that campers are be sent with a change of clothes ~ We REQUIRE it for all younger campers (and especially those prone to bathroom accidents).  You will be required to pick up any camper who has had a bathroom accident.

  •  Please mark ALL belongings with your child’s first & last names.

  • All parents must sign-in & sign-out their camper(s) each day at camp.

  • No camper is permitted to enter or exit the building without an adult.

Please send your camper(s) in closed toed shoes with heel straps --- no flip flops!  We prefer tennis shoes & socks each day as they will be doing outside activities daily (weather permitting). We will not be applying sunscreen; therefore, put sunscreen on your camper(s) BEFORE they arrive at the gym!  Outside activities are finished by 10:30 and no camper is outside longer than 45 minutes.

The front gate will be closed and locked daily between 9:40 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (weather permitting).  If you need to access the gym between 9:45-10:30, you will park in the gravel lot (this gate will be open). The main front door & the camp room door are both unlocked at 3:30 p.m. daily.

A daily activity schedule can be found at the gym

What about "FIELD TRIPS"?

All "field trips" are in-house!  For planning/budgeting sake, plan on $25 per participant per "field trip".  All field trips will be held on-site (but will have a required additional fee). Participation is field trips is required - campers cannot 'opt out' of field trips.  **All field trips are 12-2 unless otherwise noted**

Our "Field Trips" will take place the following weeks/days:

Lastly, DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOR will not be tolerated.  We have a ZERO tolerance in regards to this.  If your camper causes problems, they will be either be required to sit out and miss out on all of the fun or will be asked to leave camp entirely and will not be allowed to return (regardless of how many weeks they are signed up for).  We want camp to be a fun experience for all campers; therefore, those who cannot follow our rules ... will miss out on the fun!

If you have any questions, please let us know.  We appreciate you sharing your camper(s) with us this summer!
